I just remembered I have a blog…
OK, so I’m joking (sort of), but yes, I have not been focusing on writing the past few weeks. I know you already know why — it’s because I married my beautiful bride Rosemary and we are now husband and wife. I can’t get over it. I really and truly don’t quite believe it yet — I feel like I’m still in a dream, waiting to wake up. Pinch me! On second thought, I like this dream, never mind…!
We’re taking things slowly, one day at a time, because there’s a lot to do around the house, as well as after-the-fact tasks from the wedding like sending out Thank You cards and extra announcements and such. So I won’t be delving into meaty theological topics right away. I’m still not sure yet exactly where I’m going in terms of my online presence — I’ve considered shutting down this blog and starting up a different one with a little bit of a changed mission several times, but at the moment it’s up in the air. In the meantime, I’ll try to send out Twitter updates now and then and let you know what I’m up to and (more importantly) what God’s doing in my life.
Blessings of the new Autumn season be upon you! Love from Jared

Jared, congratulations to you and Rosemary. Don’t sweat the blog. Pour all your energies into your new marriage. It’s so important.
You probably remember that in the Old Testament, it was the law that a man was relieved of all military duties for the first year of his marriage, the thought being he needed to attend to his new bride for that time. I love that law! Wish I could have done the same.
Seriously, God’s blessings upon you both. May he strengthen you in times of trouble and lift you both on eagles’ wings!
