New York, New York…a wonderful town. The Bronx is up, and the Battery is down. The people all ride in a hole in the ground. New York, New York: what a wonderful town!

Yes, I’m on vacation and in New York with my dad and brother. Never been to the east coast before, so this is quite a treat! We’re staying at a hotel in midtown Manhattan, and it’s currently 1:30 PM local time (but my body still thinks it’s 10:30 PM). We got to NY quite late, so nothing really seems to be open except bars now, so we’re having to shell out some pretty pennies for a bit of room service fare. I hope it’s worth it.

We’ll be spending a couple of days here in the city, seeing the sights, and then we’ll be heading up north into the countryside and the Catskill mountains. I’ll be taking a ton of pictures, so check back soon for a link to my Flickr gallery!
