Wow, what a crazy day. I am just pooped out! It doesn’t seem like last week’s steam roller has stopped running yet! Let me give you a brief outline of my day:
4:45 am: wake up, shower, eat.
5:40 am: drive to bus depot
5:46 am: get into bus
7:40 am: arrive in downtown San Francisco
7:55 am: settle into work and begin a hectic day of non-stop deadlines
1:10 pm: eat a sandwich on the job…
4:40 pm: miss leaving as usual for the bus home because of extra work
5:20 pm: leave work to go catch a later bus
5:35 pm: miss the bus by an inch!!! argh!!!
6:08 pm: hop on the last bus out of San Francisco
6:50 pm: still in San Francisco…traffic sucks
7:00 pm: taking a detour through Sausalito because of a multi-car crash on Hwy. 101
8:30 pm: finally arrive home
And to top it all off, the guy who’s the main contractor for the client who pulled in the company I work for needed to discuss some important issues with the contact with me which was aggravating because I needed to talk to my boss first and he’s currently on vacation in Hawaii and I wasn’t able to reach him. Whew!
My past weekend was comprised of solid wall-to-wall church and ministry activities, which was awesome but tiring, and now tomorrow after work (which I’m doing via telecommuting, thankfully) I’m going to be heading off to the local Santa Rosa Farmers Market to help lead a prophetic arts outreach ministry through Grace (we’re going to have a booth set up there, which is spiffy). At this point, I’m riding on pure grace and faith because my strength is totally spent. God help me…literally!
