I just heard the excellent news that the Supreme Court has upheld the federal law that bans partial-birth abortion. Read the AP article for a rundown.

As one of the largest and grossest wholesale violations of human rights in the world today, abortion remains a significant black stain on this country. I applaud the court for this small yet vital step in the fight for the rights and dignity of our unborn brethren. To quote Dr. Seuss: “a person’s a person, no matter how small.”
